No more WvW for 100% map completion, only half as many gifts of exploration, WvW gets its own. OR you still have to do both to get the gift even though they’re seperate.
Huh, looks like they are removing the WvW requirement. Eh, least it makes things more convenient. The problem I had with that req is that it’s not hard to complete but rather it’s very dependent on whether the players in the server are willing to help you out with that I guess. Though don’t you think that it would be even better to replace moving the WvW map req with the new maps (southsun, dry top and silverwastes)?
I’m really intrigued by the shadow weapons. I wonder what they’ll look like. Haven’t seen any leaks or pics of them :-( was kinda hoping there was before I go to bed but I guess I’ll have to wait till it’s released.
Edit: About all the people buying up mini kasmeers… how do you know it’s a recipe that will improve or upgrade said mini? What if it’s a recipe to make more of said mini? Just saying… I wouldn’t put all my eggs in 1 basket based on a sentence that could make or break your wallet depending on your own interpretation of a few words.
Of course alot of context can be lost in translation but from what was stated in the OP, i thought they introduced a MF recipe to forge a Mini Kasmeer, not a new mf recipe that will require it to forge something else.

I just checked in game and unlike other rare black lion chest minis like mai trin or caithe, kasmeer wasnt forgeable (with 3 other rare minis) to get a new rare mini (or exotic, if youre lucky). So I guess that will be the change and it will work in the mf like any other rare mini.
Alas, as its price went up to 4-5g and is now in line with the other rare BLC minis, there isnt much investment opportunity here.

Okay, let’s get some things clear here. China does not have the patch yet, and it seems to be an unintended leak. The patch was delayed for China, for the same reason: testing.
I was about to take yet another char to WvW for map completions sake, guess now I won’t have to. Also the 3-person-kick-system should make griefing a bit less likely, even though it still cannot be ruled out completely of course.
Also, when is this trend of gambling for skins going to end? Would love to just buy the skins straight up or even better, have them unlocked through in-game content. The best skins, imo, are stuck behind a gambling pay wall.

I had played GW2 in Chinese server for almost nine months. I observed that VIP system is just OK, and no VIP players are capable to be superior in PVE. But what I should say is that Chinese server is actually dying since the Chinese agent failed to stop god accounts, which are always ran by organized ‘studios’. GW2 is a dying game in China, and the most passive players in Chinese forum even predicted that the server will be closed before 2017.

Buy gems > change for gold > buy skin from TP > Win the game.

New faces, yay. Its been a while. Here’s hoping the new batch is actually new, and not like last time where over half of them were just previous exclusive faces with changed textures or eyes.
No more WvW in map completion? Yay! I’m still not interested enough to make any of the current legendaries, but that’s one big stumbling block down in case something in HoT piques my interest.
A dark, edgy weapon set? Yay, I don’t have to worry about buying any then. Don’t have enough money to spend on more weapons right now. Maybe I’ll be surprised by them, though.
I assume this is all accurate, because most of it sounds reasonable.
For a relatively low-key update, this sounds awesome. I’ve been wanting a first-person camera for screenshots and video for a long time, and it never made a lot of sense to me that WvW was required for World Completion. I’m ambivalent about Stability changes, but 3-to-kick sounds like a good change.
It’s mostly little things, but I’m really looking forward to this update.

Anyone that isn’t done, sure, can’t see them being upset over the change. I know there will be those that will rejoice because WvW was the only thing standing between them and completion. On the other hand, I can see some people that paid for several server transfers to do theirs getting kittened off about it.
Personally, I like the change, even though I did pay for a transfer to get mine lol. Now I won’t need to for future completions.

if it the newest changes i like em. always thought wvw should been left out of world completion. camera changes and stability changes always good. actuall update id look forward too

Those notes are real, coming from the official chinese GW2 site. But I remain skeptical for now. Even if those changes do make it into the chinese version there is no guarantee they will be introduced into the western version as wel. I hope it will, but for now I assume it won’t.
Hope for the best, expect the worst.
