I wish some exotics items could be upgraded to legendary stats. For example upgrading Mjolnir to legendary will provide choose stats, add footprints and aura like Bolt, or Volcanus similar to incinerator, or new effects like Wings of Dwayna will give you an aura similar to have wings or an effect like Selfless Potion.

And if you already have the skins but no the item you can get the old transmutation spliter, so you recover the item and can works in the upgrade to legendary status.

Or they could add new legendary weapons already or make Ascended weapons (the poor mans legendary weapon) have some other effect then just glowing on and off.
