A few days ago, I got that Purple Rabbit’s Food as a gift from my Mawdrey II.

When I first looked at it, I was first all like “cool, a nice accessoire”.
That was before I realized 1 second later that it is a total useless item.
Pure Junk to say it, because its a silyl white item, that has as an accessoire even NO STAT…

So I got an idea…

What would be, if those items, that we get from Mawdrey II, like this Lucky Rabbit’s Food would have the speciality, that the player could use them to upgrade them via the Mystic Forge into more valuable and useful unique items.

Theres even a color in the name in this case of the Lucky Rabbit’s Foot, which implies, that they could possibly exist other colored more valuable versions.

Something like this would I find very nice:

Purple Lucky Rabbit’s Foot = White Quality/ No Stats
Brown Lucky Rabbit’s Foot = Blue Quality/ Has Level 10 Stats slightly better than a normal Lvl 10 Item (works as Leveling Item)
Orange Lucky Rabbit’s Foot = Green Quality/ Has Level 25 Stats…
Grey Lucky Rabbit’s Foot = Yellow Quality/ Has Lvl 50 Stats…
Black Lucky Rabbit’s Foot = Exotic Quality/ Has Lvl 80 Stats
White Lucky Rabbit’s Food = Ascended Quality/ Has Lvl 80 Stats.

The speciality about this Accessoire could be, that it provides instead of offensive/defensive infusion slots, utility slots, so that you could place into them those Gold Find, Magic Find, Karma or Exp boosting infusions into them.

Currently, the only ascended accessoires that offer utility function infusion slots are ascended accessoires for amulates, but there sadly exist none accessoires as rings or earrings or back items to provide the utility slot for those items.

Improved Lucky Rabbit’ts Foots would make up for nice ascended accessoires with utility slot beign used either as Rings or Earrings.
From looking at their Icons I think they’d make up for great Earrings.

What do you guys thing of gettign implemented also Utility infusion slotted Rings, Earrings and Back Items.
I think they kind of are really missing.

I think the general Infusion System also requires a major overhaul, as currently it seems to me very much unthought out, not to mention the total out of scope not worth al the effort big grind, that lies behind getting infusions with omni functions, just to be able to use that infusion with any kind of equipment that you want to combine it with.
But thats an other topic.

Here for now I’d like to know from you, how you’d find it, if mawdrey II’s mostly useless gifts could get upgraded via the mystic forge to make them useful by my exampel of the rabbit’s foot, which could be used also to implement missing utility accessoires for rings, earrigns and back pieces.

I think it’s just a flavor item, not everything needs to be about stats

This was an item that used to be available in Queensdale, not too far from the gate into Divinity’s Reach. There were 6 different colors of Rabbit’s Foot (orange, blue, red, purple, yellow, green), and each were identical. That is to say, the only thing they offered was an upgrade slot.

You spent a fairly hefty chunk of coin for a level 2 character to get one, all for a mostly useless item.

There are level 80 Rare versions mixed in with the craftables data (Pink, White, and White. Yes, two Whites). They have stats and gem upgrades included. I don’t think they’re in the game in any capacity.

There are level 80 Fine and Masterwork Rabbit’s Feet (no color specified) that appear to be from a Karma Vendor.
