Use Spotify Playlist in-game?

I’m pretty sure this is impossible but I thought I’d ask just to be sure.

I know you can create custom playlists to replace the in-game music using media files(mp3, flac, ogg, etc) and/or playlist files(m3u, msx, etc) but is there a way to use a spotify playlist?

I’d love to be able to use custom music in-game but all my music, with the exception of a few albums that aren’t available on spotify, is on spotify.

Also, I know you can just play spotify in the background while playing, which is what I currently do.

I think it’s possible, but probably not with existing tools. My first idea is something that “streams” the playlist into files in your GW2 music directory, and generates a playlist file with all the names.

Overwolf has a Spotify app that you can use in game.

It looks like the overwolf app just allows you to have a spotify player overlay in-game. I’m looking for a way to replace the game music with spotify playlists. So have a playlist that plays instead of the game ambient music, battle music, etc…

I just use my fn keys to control my spotify music while in-game so an overlay app wouldn’t add that much. Thanks for the suggestion though.
