Why dont ANet use these forums to let players know whats going on? For example the login servers are down and as a result alot of players cant log in. I came to the forums to see if Anet had said anything on the matter and i could not find anything. Instead i find players quoting from GW2 twitter page. I myself, and im guessing alot of us, dont have twitter. So why dont Anet use these forums to inform players of whats going on?

Also its not just things like this but even information about updates. I had to read the article on MMORPG that they had about the WvW changes coming in March.

They have also stated in multiple threads that they are aware of the issue…check the Dev Tracker.

The forum itself is feeling a bit sluggish this morning for me. Anyone else?

Y its sluggish, might have something to with this login error who knows. Everyother site works just fine.

And yes i saw the Anet post in that forum section but my point is they use twiiter first then the forum.

Like i said i had to go to MMORPG to get information on the interview they had about the upcoming March WvW changes and that was because a player from the community linked it. Was it so hard for a Anet def to link it. Same thing about the guild missions.

Everyone who plays GW has access to the forums not everyone has access to twitter.

maybe they had as much trouble logging into the Forums as I did (took about 5 tries and kept getting proxy errors). so they used twitter first?
