First of all, i want to say that it’s not a troll thread, so I don’t want to get answers like “give it to me”, etc.

Could somebody write down a list of some significant gold use options for player with fully geared main?
I know about bank, inventory, character slot expansions, etc., but they don’t really require lots of gold, if you are not an alt-o-holic and just want 8 different professions characters.
So, any more purposes for spending gold?

Actually, if you play Just for fun and don’t care about legendarys, alts, or cosmetics…
I’ll put some things to you:

1- Start your very own mini’s collection. Try out to complete mini’s collection. Looks fun for people that already have a lot of money. (Also, you can buy minis via TP, or get more fun opening the 3-mini-pack).

2- Don’t spend it at now. Just use it to convert in gems, and get a full fun at all releaes of living storys. I mean, if you just want to spend money, why don’t buy the flute only to play a little? I’m sure that a lot of more funny items will come in the next releases.

3- Invest in Commander tag. You can start to find fun in being a commander (Even PVE, and WXW).

4- Invest all your money until the last cooper in the candidate you like (Ok, trolling).

5- Get the swim Booster consumable. Never seen anyone spend money in that thing, should be fun bet races with risen and sharks.

Hmm, you can use it to buy all the cultural armors for the title.

Mostly cool looking skins. Or helping guildies with their armor/skins which is what I do

To bad the Trading post gets fluctuated so easily.

Gear your character with cool weapons. Legendary, corrupted, destroyer, other mystic forge weapons.

I started out making incinerator (legendary dagger) for my necro, then i made full corrupted set for my warrior. Now im working towards commander title in WvW

Buy runes, sigils collect greatswords, buy mats for legendary, buy precursors…etc.

Inctease attacks and toughness to 3k or above on same character I bet u your charracter is either have high attacks and low toughness or high toughness and low attack.

Well lets see. I am kind of odd because I like to send random people gifts if I see a conversation in chat where it is someone really new or I can tell someone is having a bad day. So you could use the gold to gems to buy small items from the gem store for gifts. Just an idea.

Like others have said you can play the TP market. I kind of enjoy that but I just started recently am am trading on cheaper items but it is kind of fun and easy money for not much work.

Go crazy with armor and transmutation stones to mix up your look now and then.

I think if you look for ways to spend it outside the basic stuff you will be surprised how fast it gets spent.

Be a philanthropist and give money out to poor people. I make sure that my TP income exceeds my donation expenses though. What is 3g to someone with 6 exotic sets? It will make the day of a new guildie though!

Work on skins. My main/namesake is working towards his 6th GS. If you’re not interested in cosmetics, or gold….. I have no clue what to tell you :P Just turn it all into gems and hope something down the line interests you.

Oh, I don’t send out anything mind blowing, usually stuff like dye kits, repair canisters and so forth. I did send someone a makeover kit once because they called my Sylvari ugly.

Yeah, Gold for me help with starting and maintaining collections. Weapon collections, armor collections and mini pet collections. Also helps with purchasing gems for novelty items like the instruments, town clothes and perma gathering items. Love the flute.
