I have a question and there are multiple threads and sites were this is already discussed but some are old and probably not up to date. So my question is Verata’s Seared Ring is it available to buy from any kind of merchant (laurel or SW)? And if so what has to be completed to get it available for purchase?

I have multiple chars that have completed LS2 but none seems to be able to buy it. I have it already have one so..

According to the Wiki it’s sold by SW Quartermasters and the Priory Historian to characters that have completed the Seeds of Truth chapter. 10G+1k crests.

Like I said "I have multiple chars that have completed LS2 including Seed of Truth chapter but none can buy any from SW merchant or karma sellers

If the character you’re on has completed episode 7, seeds of truth, you should be able to find it at the Priory Historian (camp resolve entrance) on the first page in between the other ascended items. I just tried it with a character that hadn’t touched season 2, then completed only episode 7. If your story journal has S02E07 marked as complete, maybe your account is bugged, so contact support.

Well I just looked through all my characters and found one that was still in that storyline but completed Seed of Truth and now I could buy it.

So it seems like the ring stops being available for purchase upon completing LW2? If so, that has to be a bug!
I’ll make sure to check the vendor regularly ony the toon I’m slowly taking through LW2…

There is no reason for that ring to behave completely different from the rest of the LS2 ascended trinkets …

All the other trinkets’ availability is account bound but this one ring is per character.

Remember that you can do individual LS2 episodes (and even parts of episodes). I went painstakingly through to look up the story journal for each of my characters and was surprised at who had completed which chapters; it didn’t match my memory at all.

So check to make sure the individual has completed the relevant step; doing the final episode isn’t sufficient.

Also, sometimes resetting said episode (for achieves, for example) can mess things up.
