Ok, so this is a very small change and most people probably won’t care about it. But I still decided to put it out there. What if your character model moves to the right distance when you harvest a rock/tree/herb. I have always found it weird that your model chops down a tree while the blade is a metre away from the tree. I think that it’ll make the game just a tiny bit better and I don’t believe that it’ll be too hard to put in the game. What do you guys think?

It’s due to all races having the same range. Charr and Norn likely don’t have this issue as much as other races, especially Asura, do.

Hmm… Even something like that could be problematic. Forcing a character to reposition without accounting for height in every node could result in some hilarious clipping/stuck issues.

I like the idea though, even if it’s for a miniscule amount of immersion.

And what if your character would hop to one set place per node? That may fix some clipping/stuck issues right?
