Guild Wars 2

I’m not sure if the mob was designed this way or not, but it was one shotting everyone in the area and seemed pretty much impossible to kill. Here is a video of our attempts to kill it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSo5OLAUkRM.

Edit: maybe it was just a one time bug? can anyone confirm if they have had a similar situation? I will say it was rather funny though

Yeah, I jumped into a group with one of those playing my level 80 Guardian, thinking I would just faceroll over them like I do with all the other enemies in a level 10 area. I was so wrong, did manage to kill them, but only just barely. Must be much worse in a group due to bad scaling. These things are clearly way overtuned.

edit: just watched video. strange that he barely lost any HP to your attacks.=s Didn’t have that problem the one time I fought one.

Before going to the video I was wondering if all the dredge were dead. There is one that does a good job spamming regen it seems. I didn’t see one in the video though so it looks like you met one tough Brawler.

Yeah it was a pretty tough mob for a level 8 area.. If you look closely at the video we do manage to get about 1/15 of its health down at one point in time.

Don’t really have a problem with them when I play my engineer ,but if somone else jumps in it becomes a problem.

The mob was level 15 while you’re downscaled to level 8. That is enough to trigger glancing i think.

Edit: looking at the video some more i see non-crits producing “glancing” over and over, so it seems that’s part of the problem at least.

All in all, people were doing 50% of their normal damage to the mob.
