So before I used to alway get my veterans in the Gendarran Fields.

Veteran Oakhearts where sorta easy to deal with and there were a bunch of them strolling around. Now after being a few months inactive, I come back to find favo Veterans for dailies are now just regular oakhearts.

So where do I get my veterans now?

Greatheat weald in Queensdale where the corrupted Oakheart spawns,
also at the hunting lodge where Boar spawns are several vets running around
You can also just hit an invasion when it is up.

Also in frostgorge sound, around the norn camp near the entrance (there’s a grawl camp nearby as well), several veteran oakhearts and a veteran crab spawn nearby.

There are Veteran Oakhearts in Wayfarer in the snowy area right after you come out of the portal from Hoelbrak, as well. Pretty darn easy ones.

There are continual spawning Veteran Ghosts in that new part of Plains of Ashford (lower left corner of map by the Guild puzzle), too.

The ones by where Wurm spawns are still Vets too:)

Wychmire Swamp in Northwest Caledon (near where the Champion Trolls spawn) have several Veteran Oakhearts that respawn fairly quickly as well. It is right by the Wychmire Waypoint.

This is where I go for veterans. There are 3 and they respawn really fast. There’s usually a champ troll nearby as well that you could get if you feel overly brave

Other than that I will just tag a few during Frostgorge champ farming, as they are everywhere there, but of course you have to be high level for that.

Just curious: I forget why the change? I seem to remember one or the other (vets before, regular after) was a bug… anyone recall?

Yes, the dev said they accidently got grouped in with some others….would fix it? Not sure about that part. But, I guess they forgot, or decided to wait.
