They really need to just spawn tons of normal mobs instead of these tiny numbers of impossible billion-HP time-wasters.
Especially given that we’re in Orr. We should be fighting hordes of Risen, not the odd ridiculously-overpowered normal mob that can’t even be killed before the timer’s up.
It’s the one place in the game I could come close to fighting masses of enemies at once, too. Hopefully someday we’ll get increased player numbers matched with increased mob numbers, not gamebreaking juggernaut mobs which drop nothing.
There’s a reason the last escort to Balth was always my favorite, despite its increased difficulty.
Yes, or at least make the hordes of spawns from the time-wasting champion actually count for event credit.
There were hordes there, just hordes of little spiders that absorbed tons of damage and didn’t give any credit. Call it an extension of the single giant time-wasting enemy.
The problem wasn’t the event failing, as it succeeded after the timer, but the problem was that I was there, contributing for more than half of it and got no credit anyway. I would have been perfectly happy with bronze and the end chest, but fought hordes of zero-credit spiderlings with way too many hp for no credit.
Welcome to the “New and Improved” Cursed Shore, where all events are now filled with either 30k damage egg trowing chickens, 1,200 range life steal champion wraiths that make some events impossible to complete (Looking at you, third part of the Priest of Grenth event) and champion spiders and their veteran hatcheling that give no exp, loot / whatever that are not worth the time to kill .
