Probably due to the areas players are farming now. Mob drop other t6 mats instead blood.

I guess this tells you how much people like playing in Straits of Devastation.

Blood is used by way too many things. From berserker gear to a whole lot of exotic mystic forge recipes for skins. Any little increase in demand will spike it.

As well as spiking the price for t5 blood, which people are apparently buying now to promote to t6.

With these new map rewards, they are being handed out like candies. I am not asking map rewards to be removed but atleast lower the drop rates of these map rewards.

You think it’s bad now? Wait till everyone realizes you need gift of fortune for Ad Infinitum. That could happen this tuesday, assuming anet actually releases the rest of the collection for it.

I would expect it to use the new gift not the old one. Fewer t6 but more of the lower tiers.

The point is valid, T6 mats are moving toward becoming trash loot.

Creating a fake scarcity is not the way to fix them being trash. Creating more avenue’s for usage is the right way to go about fixing the issue. The only reason blood and charged loadstone have any value is their relative usefulness compared to other materials.

You can always go to Southsun and farm Karka. Of course there not much to really do there beyond that (besides the Karka Queen).

this week farming spot for T6 Blood is in Malchorr’s Leap… come come…. get your T6 blood here… lots of events here as well..

With all those recipes requiring stacks of 250 of those things, each champion in the game could drop a T6 material guaranteed daily, and each world boss a lodestone guaranteed daily, and they would still be rare.

Now, if those recipes required 10 or so, it’ll make more sense to keep them more than now.
