It took maybe 7 characters doing the farm route to get enough.
186 nodes, 6 Vials. Trust me, I feel your pain. That’s with 8 characters all running 30% MF food on top of my passive 116% bonus. This is after hitting every location of coral listed on the wiki (more than once). Someone should do more research into the drop rates for these because it is horribly imbalanced compared to any other material I’ve had to gather for the collections I’ve done.
Magic Find does not help with this.
But you can try the gathering boost from tavern in guild hall. It might help but my sample size is too small to be 100% sure.

MF may not, but I’ve noticed most of mine have come from Item Boosters. (In the sense that they give me an extra chance of up to 3 harvests per node.) So if you have those, they seem to help.
