Right after preview the new skin, I bought gem immediately to buy the medium and heavy armor skin.
This is exactly the reason why ascended armor look so ugly…
Though viper does sound awesome, and I was already planning on buying it. It looks like a copy and paste of durman armor to me. Why do we always get the coat ANet? Can’t we get something fitted and actually mature looking armor for medium?

You can also get most of the pieces on this set ingame already (with a tiny TINY variation) without wasting gems. Looks like a regular armor IMO without taste.

I’d buy the heavy armor just for the boots on my female Norn… If they didn’t clip with seemingly every leg armor in the game including the phalanx set itself.

And that is what I want for guild wars 2 as well, I mean we have the system to do it, but I just dont get why the Team is not doing it. For an MMO we have a pretty solid graphic system though some need polishing for sure, its an MMO after all. But I just wish we could have some solid looking armor, not too bulky, not too flashy (radiant shoulder,gloves) not repetitive (CoF armor flames, Radiant alternatives) just something really tailored looking for each races or professions.
So far the most tailored and matching armors I have seen in game are Tier 3 cultural armor for each races.

Ok, they both have the same type of skirt, except Priory one is symmetrical and looks 100x better and doesn’t have tons of random junk stapled to it and huge S&M Biker boots. ;/ Not very alike at all. It would be pretty awesome to actually have cool armor on my Thief though but it’s not gonna happen. At least not till Cantha is released and they add Assassin armor into gem store.
