Vote for a statue of Tybalt Leftpaw
Nay.
He was useless. And only got promoted when you appeared.
He was old and close to die anyway.
Considering a large area of the Black Citadel is given over to statues of famous charr heroes I agree completely.
(Warning: Spoilers below If you haven’t done the Claw Island personal story mission you might want to stop reading here.)
Tybalt was Iron Legion and sacrificing himself to allow everyone to escape Claw Island so we could rally our forces, return and re-take it, which was the first step in fighting back againat Zhaitan and directly lead to the formation of the Pact is definitely equal to what the other heroes honoured there did. He should get a statue.

Best character, certainly the most friendly and funny in whole personal story, possibly in GW2 if it comes to not-GW1 bounded characters. Only one I truly missed of all Personal Story. I wish he’d replace Traeherne.

Yay – Hes the only decent Charr in the game. And everyone likes apples.
I vote yes to a statue!
I’m on my third OoW runthrough, and I’m now digging my heels in – no more personal story until there’s something to remember the old grizzlepuss by! I’ve never wanted to give pixels a hug before, but Tybalt is where I make an exception.
I think it would be great, except for one thing….
Tybalt is (was) a Personal Story Character. Spoiler Alert!:A new player who walks into a city and sees his statue, and reads the caption would be sad to realize that he dies before they ever get to that chapter. If they put one up, I would think the best place for it would be in the instance that everyone sees only after they finish the Personal Story, where you receive your Pact Weapon of choice as your reward.
Never heard of him, certainly don’t need a statue of whoever he is.
What about Magister Seiran and the Vigil partner? Be fair to each personal story choice
Restore that which was lost. And all shall be as one.”
I’d like to see him recognized for his heorism, but it is a pretty big spoiler even if it’s specific to one order. Maybe something could be added to your home instance after you complete that arc. Maybe something already is… I have to admit I don’t go in there often
He might start thinking he knows what’s right for you.

I would love for there to be something to commemorate one of the great characters in the game — but for the reason stated above it needs to be placed in a Level 80 area.
Yeah I think there should be statue in your home instance in remembrance of the person who was your mentor during the initiation of whatever order you joined.
Memorial of your mentor in your home instance would be better
It’d be very odd to go into Salma District to see a statue of a Charr.
I don’t see what he did that was more heroic than Gretchen, Tonn or Arda. Just because you knew him longer, makes no difference.
His actions at Claw Island were minimal. Would the Risen have taken any longer to beat him to mush than they did any other NPC? All he accomplished was holding you up with a dialogue so that it took that much longer to seal the door. He endangered everyone by yabbering on while the Risen came ever closer.
As for slowing the Risen down, there are several story steps (and probably a few days in ‘real time’ between the fall and the retaking of the island. His death can’t have slowed them down that much.
Not particularly a hero in my eyes, no more than Sieran and I liked her a LOT more.
I feel sorry for the other 2, they never get any of the credit for Claw Island.
A memorial statue for all of the pact members lost in the fight against Zhaitan would be more appropriate. It could be placed in a central Pact headquarters that’s added now that they have beaten Zhaitan and want to begin focusing on the other dragons….
WINK, WINK, NUDGE, NUDGE!!!!
I want a statue too!
I vote Yay.
He’s pretty much the only memorable and likeable character in the entire of player’s Trahearne Story.
I mean, Trahearne Story.
I mean… Story.
Why not have a statue of your mentor in home instance? As a remembrance of good times spent together. I personally much rather have Sieran’s statue than Tybalt, but then again, it’s only a personal preference in stories.
On second thought I agree it would make more sense for the statue to be in your home instance (to avoid spoilers) and of your mentor (for equality).

Hands down my favorite character.
I’ve done all the orders, so when I made my 4th toon I chose Order of the Whispers just to see Tybalt again. When Claw Island came, I teared up and had to skip the heart breaking scene.
Nay.
Unless they make one for Sieran and Forgal too.
Sieran was so much more loveable than Tybalt to me.
I want a statue too!
Id be in support of a statue of Tybalt and Wethospu embracing each other in a friendly hug.
Memorial of your mentor in your home instance would be better
This post right here gets my undying +1.
I miss Forgal.
If you really, really need one, I think Fort Trinity would be a better place for it. In the instanced area maybe?

WINK, WINK, NUDGE, NUDGE!!!!
Oh, I like this idea! A statue of the three order mentors as a memorial statue for all the people we’ve lost during the war. As a symbol of the Trinity.
And… Forgal! T___T!
Sieran Statue in the Grove then too. Although her death is a complete lie. She used perma mistform to escape and stow away on a risen ship and is lost at sea on an island somewhere to become Owain 2.0. Gone, but still alive.
Swap Tybalt for Trahhern and the PS would have been a 100 times better.
Swap Tybalt for Trahhern and the PS would have been a 100 times better.
Hmmmmm-naah. Apples can purify teeth but not Orr. .-.
I vote nay – not because I don’t like Tybalt, he is undoubtedly a very amiable character – no it is simply because ‘spies’ don’t get statues. Vigil or Priory characters would be a different story, but Whisperers are secret.
Well that’s how I feel about it.
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
Forgal was much more bad kitten than Tybalt. You got to pal around with the colonel from Metal Gear Solid as a big gruff Norn.
I feel like Tybalt wouldn’t be nearly as popular if he wasn’t the guy attached to the Super Secret Assassin’s Club that everyone and their grandma chose to join.
I vote yes for statue of Tybalt. Tybalt was cool and funny
What about Magister Seiran and the Vigil partner? Be fair to each personal story choice
This, Sieran at least is just as tragic as tybalt. Haven’t done the Vigil story.
Miranda Zero – Ele / Twitch Zero – Mes / Chargrin Soulboom – Engi
Aliera Zero – Guardian / Reaver Zero – Necro
I don’t understand the fascination with Tybalt. He was only mildly interesting/amusing because most of the other characters sucked.
I think the statue should be a charr and the two others sleeping under an apple tree with no sign or description……..people who have done the story line will know what its about without a spoiler.
I vote Nay, because incorporating Personal Story elements into the open world suggests that they’d shut off access to those Personal Story elements for new characters, much like the way their Living Story continually destroys itself. This game doesn’t need to make more of its story inaccessible to New Players.
Putting it in some instance you can only access after finishing that story section, obviously, is quite OK.
Personally I’d like to see a statue of the mentor of your chosen order be put up in your home instance. That place needs some love.
If they make one it should be in Fort Trinity with all 3 of the mentors on it each facing a different direction .
Wandering through Divinity’s Reach, and overheard the topic of conversation turn to Tybalt, and how much he was liked. Which got me thinking. So here it is, Vote ‘Yay, or Nay’, and why, there should (or should not) be a statue of Tybalt Leftpaw .
It probably wont happen, but a bit of fun anyway.I vote ‘yay’—reason : -He was possibly the only hero I *did not* want to see die.
+1 to that, he deserves a statue!
There will forever be a monument to Tybalt… in my heart.
Absolutely not. I hated him. In fact, I re-rolled after having chosen Order of Whispers on my first character.
I think a statue of one’s mentor in the home instance is a super awesome idea.
I vote no, for reasons stated earlier.
Maybe if player housing ever becomes available (I seriously doubt it), there should be the option to have a small bust or statue in your own home, thats it.
Apart from the fact, what happens if you go into a 5 man Salma instance and different people had different orders?
Sure…give him a statue…in your home instance where it’s relevant, but unfortunately where you’ll never probably see it.
I’d prefer to have to take him on as a champion risen mob during the personal story, including the crucial 90’s action movie cliché of a one liner just before you deliver the finishing blow, but not before a glimmer of his personality shines through the ‘risen’ state, where he slowly draws out the word…“Aaapplees!”
he was not even that good apples some one need apples get real he was lame but he was the only that give little humor in this game and u guys think he was good caracter pff epic ussles each caracter in the lore they are there to tell u something but in the end they all suck whit logan on the top
Hopefully they’re working on player housing and just keeping it mum. They’ve never said anything about not doing it, and now with WoW doing it they’ll be the only mmo without it, which is never what you want when you’re selling a product. That being said, I’d love to commission Eir to carve me an ice sculpture of Tybalt! What a great idea that would be.
I like the idea with the personal instance. Let’s go even further and have a section of your Order.
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
