It was only available during the first Wintersday, though. I do wish Anet would bring it back along with the Mini Infinirium. They brought back the Snowman at least, so that’s something. Maybe next year.

Yes that one and I agree I wish they bring it back and yea I guess we have the Ho Ho tron or snowman but I like the festive Golem I went and got the Holloween Golem cuz I just like their golems they are cool

Oh yeaaaaaaah, that one. I’d honestly forgotten about him.
Hopefully I’m wrong, but the festive golem and bunny ears probably won’t be back for a few years to build up more demand.

They also brought back mini Foostivoo the Merry. Combine 3 mini snowmen in the mystic forge with a stack of 250 flawless snowflakes. The problem is the mini snowmen stack so you need to hold the ALT key and drag it to an empty inventory slot to separate them all, otherwise you wind up putting the whole stack into a single slot in the mystic forge and the snowmen need to take up 3 out of 4 slots. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Foostivoo_the_Merry
Mini snowman is extremely rare, as in, I’ve opened over 8k gifts and still haven’t received 1. But I did spend a decent amount of gold to buy 4 from the trading post; 1 for my wardrobe and 3 to make a mini foostivoo.
It is nice that they brought back these minis, so it’s possible they might bright back the mini festive golem and mini infinirarium for next wintersday. Though it’s hard to say. The festive golem and infinirarium use to be combined in the mystic forge to create foostivoo and this year we got foostivoo a different way. So if they do bring them back they may be used to combine in the mystic forge to create a new mini, or perhaps just standalones you can buy in the gem shop, or maybe obtain from wintersday gifts.
There’s something charming about rangers.
I’ve been asking every single year for them to bring back the 4 Wintersday Mystery Box Minis, even though I felt like it was increasingly unlikely.
This year honestly exceeded my expectations because they not only brought back 2 of them (the Snowman and Foostivoo) but actually made the Snowman tradable so we didn’t have to rely on RNG drops to get them. (Which worked out extremely well for me because I’ve only gotten 1 Snowman as a drop, but was able to buy 3 more.)
I have no idea why they didn’t bring back all 4. My best guess is that they thought those, on top of the new minis and the other returning ones (Ho-Ho-Tron, Festive Faren, the Wintersday 3-pack etc.) would be too much at once.
So I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed and asking next year for the Golem and Infiniarium, and at the moment I’m fully expecting one or both to be made available since there’s not really any reason not to now the Snowman and Foostivoo are back.
