You know Anet could think about it better if you gave some examples.

Examples, how about “the Sims” and “Farmville”? Home instances should go that route. How the heck is it even an “home” instance when we can’t personalize it at all? And, the placement of the nodes within them are flat out horrid too. Come on dev’s be a bit more reasonable with this request.

I’d rather just see the current five home instances un-instanced and made part of the open world… then give us some real player homes. Complete customisation, stick the nodes in there and sell a ton of extra cosmetic kitten on the gem store to make it worth Anet’s effort.

This would be the logical way of doing it, especially since it allows a less-invasive profit stream while having no effect on store vs. content balance. A game that is based so heavily around cosmetics, it’s always been odd to me that personal instances have been mostly ignored.

I’d go for this! They should also try to include fishing as it’s been asked for over and over. Better keep those Quaggans safe. The Krait may not be the only ones catching them soon

True! We have an home instance that doesn’t feel like home at all, you just drop in there to take gather stuff and then you’re out… like a real parent’s home instance XD
