The forums are used to discuss topics of interest in the game. If people were allowed to post wtb/wts then not only would they be bypassing the anti-inflation TP taxes but their posts would push the discussion threads off the front page so that no discussion could be done.

Yes. Literally no chance. The reason why is, they do not want people to go outside the TP to trade. Not only does it bypass the anti inflation taxes they set up but every time someone scams another person, that means support has to look into it and punish that person, possibly banning them. That costs them money directly and they lose a player.

Well, in my case I would talk to guy and told him to put buy offer: (for example 2.134g) on market, then i would just quicksell my thing to him.
They still don’t want them on the forums as the forums are a place to debate and discuss topics. Allowing wts/wtb threads to post would push discussion threads off of the front page. Just like the wts/wtb posts in the LFG was starting to cause problems with taking up room there and had to be banned from it.
At any rate you got your answer and that it’s against the forum rules.

If you are willing to sell for that price, just list it at 2.134g and whisper him to buy it now.

Problem is:
1) I dont have buyer for that price, it was example.
2) It costs 5%, so 5% from 2134 = +/- 100g
And scams are 100% loss, so -2134. Selling outside the TP can be dangerous, in no circumstances will you ever get your item or gold back, should something go awry.
Regardless, the forums are not a grey market, and thus, no buying/selling allowed here.
