Simply put: I have already crafted these items through discovery, but they appear as locked skin, will I have to spend more gold to craft them again to unlock them?

The only way to unlock a skin is to

• Salvage
• Destroy
• Throw into Mystic Forge
• Right click on item and select “unlock skin” (this account binds the item)
• Equip

Just crafting the item does not unlock the skin.
