I’ve seen a lot of threads about legendaries, but for me I have 2 Foefires Essence, will I atleast be able to sell off 1 of those skins when wardrobe is implemented?

Or has the time and gold I spent crafting a second one been a complete waste of time?

In all honestly this is a big kick in the face on how much of a waste of time and effort this game requires just for things to be crafted for cosmetics then deleted at Anets say so…

You can sell it when you give back the (probably) hundreds of hours of use you got out of the weapon on both characters.

I am actually very happy with the wardrobe, even though I bought some expensive stuff twice.

That’s like buying a game when it first comes out at the full price and then complaining when it’s put on sale a few months later.

They could give a box for each double that gives a green-exotic item

It’s a generally positive change with a few negatives for a very selective group of people who think they deserve some kind of compensation for no longer having the exclusive right of feeling prettier than everyone else.

“Dear ANet, I made a legendary weapon fully knowing that I made a legendary weapon. I had [insert rediculously long time] to think about this. Still I did it anyway. Would you please compensate me now because I deserve it?”

This is all I see from the forums anymore, especially regarding this patch. I’m just going to have to start ignoring half the threads created until the patch is live…

A month from now, nobody will remember or care about any of this.

That happens ALL the time on Steam. They even gave L4D2 out for free for 1 day on christmas 3-4 years or more after it came out and people were still kittened

I never asked for compensation, I asked if I’ll be able to sell 1 of the skins off, and to all those people who misunderstood me and think I was part of the whole “why cant everything be account bound then complain when it is” I am not one of those players, I still enjoy the game that I bought 16 months ago and I enjoy it today..

I am very happy with all the changes cause I can put my 3 legendary skins across all toons and the other changes to WvW are amazing, but like the dyes I am just curious to know what is going to happen with the doubles of weapon skins, no need to get inflamed about something so simple, an answer would have been fine…

To the OP: No one here can answer your question, and as you can see, discussing it for the sake of discussion is not productive. My unsolicited advice is to wait until patch day then submit a ticket, maybe you can get something for your efforts.

Yeah, this is very unfortunate. Why I never bothered to do that in the first place. If I wanted something on another character badly more than the other, I would just transmute it to switch to a different character.

Finished crafting my second Infinite Light about a week before they released news of the wardrobe. It stings a bit thinking about how much it cost, but with the new system, any of my toons can now rock it for the mere price of a transmutation charge. Granted, the same can be said if I only crafted the first one, but it is what it is.

At some point down the road, the servers will get shut down and EVERYTHING people “worked” so hard for will disappear. It’s a game. Enjoy playing and take screenshots.

one of the devs mentioned that you will be able to request a refund for the piece of equipment you have bought twice.
