Where is it?!

I don’t do fractals much. but I just bought my second ascended accessory for my thief. No where does it clearly show that I cannot have two of the same ascended accessories on. I can have two of the same exotics, so I figured I could do the same with ascended. NOPE! Just wasted 40 laurels and 50 globs of ectoplasm… Thanks for poor communication. I shouldn’t have to research over the internet to have learned this little fact. The game should WARN me about it clearly.

Anet mentioned in the latest Ready Up that they were adding in warnings with how sigils work for each other. Based off of what just happened to me, they should do the same for ascended accessories.

I normally don’t get kittened if I accidentally waste some money, but laurels are a different story. That is 40 days

drop their support people a ticket, the only warning you get on items like that is the little tiny word “Unique” which doesn’t even change color afaik if you happen to be wearing one of said item already (thus excluded from using it).

But yea, send a support ticket, this sounds like something they might be able to fix

I agree. The game should word it more clearly. These threads appear at least once a week. Unique is ambiguos.

Contact Support. They usually replace the item you bought with it’s ‘sister’, the same item with the different infusion.

This only happens with earrings and rings. Weapons are used as normal.

Ok, thanks guys. The Unique definitely didn’t pop out to me, and if I did see it I probably wouldn’t have thought anything of it.

A guild mate mentioned that it becomes account bound again when you infuse it, so I think I’ll just infuse it when I can and throw it on a different character.

Ascended Rings/Backpieces are the only trinkets that can be infused.
Ascended Rings that are infused are separate when it comes to “Unique” so you can have… say… a Red Ring of Death and a Red Ring of Death (Infused) equipped at the same time.

Oh ok. Well I guess I will submit a ticket, because I just wasted a lot of laurels…
