Guild Wars 2

Would it be possible to get some sort of heads up before a patch comes. It’s starting to get stupid the amount of times I’m in a Fractal and a patch hits. Then someone DCs or wants to change character or leaves for RL or just w/e and the whole run is ruined.

On the 2nd Fractal tonight and I start lagging, simple fix restart internet/PC but it takes about 10 minutes and the patch notice has just come up. So I stay in with 500+Ms. Run is going really smooth, Urban battleground no deaths at all so it’s going well.
We clear the boss and then zone into dredge, instantly get the pop up that the new patch is out.. and our Ele DCs..
So as none of us really wanted to do dredge 4 man we reset.

I get that this is really just a lot of bad luck but it’d be nice if we had a bit of forewarning to when patches are coming (10 minutes is NOT enough :c)
