Guild Wars 2

If you go with a primarily melee build on a Warrior or Guardian, do you have to kite much? Especially if you just stick with landscape mobs.

By landscape you mean open world? If so, they usually die before they can deal a lot of damage to you.
Warriors have an Evade incorporated to their GS #3 ability, so that helps too.

Yes, open world I mean. I’m not sure if I’m coordinated enough for GW2 dungeons. I heard you can farm the highest level zone for gold to buy nice gear on the auction house.

Very easy to melee, very rarely did I ever back off to range much of anything in the open world, the only thing would probably be world bosses or very highly scaled champs.
