Guild Wars 2

hey all, I am a level 72 warrior now and I don’t feel the warrior feeling at all like in guildwars 1. There are no similar skills from guildwars 1, its only 4 utility skills I can choose from and I can’t choose which attack skills to use. Is it worth leveling up warrior all the way to 80? thanks

Guild Wars 2 isn’t Guild Wars 1. Posts that essentially boil down to “why isn’t this game exactly like Guild Wars 1!” don’t make any sense to me. If you want things to be exactly how they were in Guild Wars 1, that game still exists.

None of the classes “feel” like they did in GW1. Judging but your complaint, you were expecting this game to be GW1 with better graphics….. but every indication since its original advertisement back in 2012 made it clear they were going with vastly different mechanics for combat.

As long as you hold that expectation, you’re gonna have a bad time.

Yes, it’s worth leveling any class up to 80. However, not a single class in GW2 is going to feel like their GW1 predecessor. GW2 is a completely different game with a completely different style of combat. So, you’ll need to approach it as a different game rather than GW1.5.
