Hey guys! I’ve been playing mesmer lately (my first and unique class, brought him to 80 and have been doing mostly sPvP and WvW) but I want a profession more focused on PvE now. I like doing more DPS than anyone else and support people. I want a profession that people are looking for, needed in dungeons and raids. So, the question is: should I pick warrior or guardian?

Both do it all in all game modes.

gaurdian does more dps than warrior and provides protection and cc. warrior provides might does meh dps and is generally wanted more in raids.

humm guardian aplyes protection, hammer prot guar can get it as 100% uptime.

I play both. Guardian is really easy to play in PvE as everything will just wander in to your traps and die.

They both have good value, it also depends on what you like more, i’d suggest to make both and try them out in PvP and then decide, based on the skills weapons and general feel.

You both screwed up with proof reading, actually.

All in all: Warrior is a berserking mindlessly fun pve experience, guardian takes the mindlessness of warrior and compounds it with even better defensive abilities as well as flashy flashy FLASHY abilities. Oh, yeah, and magic.

Guardian is a thinking man’s quaggan’s Warrior.
