Revenants aren’t definitely getting staves; rangers are.

There’s no reason that Rev wouldn’t get staff just because the ranger specialization gets it.

True, there is the possibility, but in my opinion it’s not likely. Revenant will be a heavy class, using hammer as a ranged weapon, along with mace and axe (and probably another weapon or two). Guardian, an already-existing heavy class, already uses staff. So, that’s why I’m assuming they won’t give another heavy class a staff.

Revenant staff skills were datamined, no confirmation of whether this will be in the final product or whether they are melee or ranged skills.

Also mace/axe is condi. Of course axe/mace still seems a possibility.
Most likely if this is true the staff skills will be melee where guard is mid Ranged. I’m hoping for running hammer for ranged & staff for melee just because that seems neat.

Datamined info is never confirmed and given the skills don’t even have names yet may very well end up being very different or even removed by the time of release.

I meant sorry for my previous post…. And then linked that link for where I got the info. As in I should have mentioned I was referring to data mined info which is obviously not confirmed.
