So because of this update,

I had watchworkboxes in my bag that i had from doing the gauntlet didnt open them because I couldnt log on. Now that you no longer receive coins i lose all that money? How does that make any sense. Beyond pssed.

Sounds like a bad harvest for the farmers this year.

Why weren’t you opening them as you received them?

Why didn’t you open them when you got them?

You didn’t see this nerf incoming? Ran it as much as I wanted yesterday and opened them all. Did a few this morning and opened all them too. While I agree it would have been nice to allow to open what you earned there is probably coding behind the scene that makes this a blanket change to that item.

I like to save them up to and open at once for better chance at a skin. But then I had to go do some things after a phone call and never got a chance to open.

You think u have it bad, Anet stole 130g from me, there goes my saving for precursor, caz I don’t want to open them, so that I don’t get pile up with sprocket.

Considering anyone who purchased the tickets, this is just a straight up loss. It’s not even a breakeven reward.

Only 60g? They took just over 300g from me and in total, I only got about 100g from opening boxes and I’m down about 200g from what I started with, but that’s another story. Why didn’t I open them? Because I didn’t have the inventory space. I would only open them as I needed more tickets. I didn’t plan on opening them for weeks, or at least until next week, when my bank is done.

It’s really not fair what they did. Hours worth of work just gone, and I was doing 3-4 gambit Deadeye on a warrior, so I did have to try. Just imagine if the magic find update simply deleted all your gear, since who cares – you should have salvaged it.

I fully expected them to nerf it but I hoped they wouldn’t screw with the existing boxes, since that’s one thing they should never do without a warning. I expected them to do what they did to subject 7 and change what kind of boxes were rewarded. They did the same kind of nerf with karma, though they wanted to give a warning and didn’t. Now they want to “fix” it. If they’re going to do that, they should fix this.

The one thing I didn’t expect though was for them to destroy the farm entirely. They claimed they wanted to reward challenging content and that the gauntlet could be farmed. At the very least, I expected the gauntlet would pay out more than what you have to put in. Considering Liadri is the most challenging, encounter in the game, it should in turn offer the highest rewards in the game, far more than simply running in a zerg, yet for some reason, they continue to buff zerging.

In their desire to make every second count they couldn’t be bothered to open them. Then they broke one of the first rules in farming 101. Never put all you eggs in one basket.

Although it is unfair…

Figured that they would (bad word that starts with f) up the gauntlet in this update so i opened all of mine last night. Remember kids always expect them to change things.

opening them “at once” has zero impact on what the bags will give you.
