I swear the only the im starting to see is norn,charr, and human warriors and guardians and its really starting to make me mad because they are all wearing the same thing all black armor and twilight and its getting very annoying am i the only one who sees this?

EDIT: To be technical i am actually using Brick and Scarlet. It’s pretty sweet.

My warrior is mainly celestial white with a plash of cobalt.

She’ll eventually have Frostfang.

My warrior, which is rather low-level, wears some greys/silvers and a dusty blue. But, I haven’t played it much lately, and it’s certainly not my main. In fact, come to think of it, it’s parked at a JP for silver doubloons, lol!

I won’t use black or abyss dyes on any of my characters let alone warriors or guardians. All black to me is just plain old boring and way overused, plus a lot of the armours have details that get lost when it’s too dark.

Heavy classes are the most developed and diverse classes in the game and are generally easier and more useful than all other classes. So yeah, everyone rolls or rerolls one.

My Guardian’s a little Sylvari Warrior of Sunlight and uses Silver and Rust, and my Warrior is Riou from Suikoden so he uses all his colors.

I find it interesting that what other people choose to play or put on their characters, something that has no affect on you personally, makes you mad.

I find it interesting that what other people choose to play or put on their characters, something that has no affect on you personally, makes you mad.

On a similar token, I’d pay mad money to disable the rendering of those plush backpacks.

I wear Black/Gray because I’m in Vigil uniform. What of it?

This upsets you? Makes me feel unique, especially in WvW when theres hundreds of warriors and they need that engineer/elementalist…or….ranger sobs.

I will admit, I have a dark war, but, I also have a very light guard. Imo, my story for them, they are yin and yang. Everything in balance.

OP stated that this was in the starting area, representing new characters which would not have been counted 3 months ago. That said, it’s anecdotal, subjective evidence, so it’s not particularly useful.

You have issues if your getting mad looking at other characters.

My lvl 2 warrior named FACEROLL PROFESSION. If there’s someone i can’t beat using a my main ranger,i bring this overpowered class to win not something the TS is expecting,not black,no twlight,not charr/human/norn

My guardian has sunrise with pyre/celestial/lifesblood dye!

Well both my warrior and guardian DO use cold colors but none black if anything i use white to much >_>

cobalt, white, redemption, sapphire and tarnished silver are amongst my favorite colors to use.

That doesn’t really tell us the whole picture. That break down is all characters, not just the ones being played. We can’t tell what people are maining from the breakdown, the percentage could be higher or lower as result.

my guardian is all blue (with white and purple highlights) sylvari, with sylvari/ta armors
my warrior is basically trying to be a paragon (weapons are ascended now, thinking on how to reskin either the white ascended skin or infinite light…dunno)

I want to share to, this is my Guardian.

Fully outfitted with radiant gloves; Toxin dye from previous pack of exclusive’s. And celestial.

I take issue with this statement . I would hardly call the heavies the most diverse . Mesmer and Ele both beat them out easily

The surviability gap is too large for the differences in offense and utility. It’s really been a problem since day one and I’m not sure why they haven’t attempted to correct it. There are a few options, the simplest ones are:

reduce the health gap at level 80 – it’s just larger than it needs to be
passive evasion for lighter armor characters

Agree with this guy. I have one of every character as well but only play my guardian.

No, he didn’t. “I’m starting to see…” does not equal, “I’m seeing in the starting area…”

I’m red gold with Twilight. People like it because the GS is extremely popular across several classes and it looks kittening great.

Heavy armors look kitten. GS legendaries look kitten. Expensive dyes are kitten. And since everyone wants to look kitten, you’ll see a lot of people looking all the same.. and that’s kitten.

I assume your complaint is directed at Anet since they are the ones that determine whether or not you are gimping yourself by not playing one? I have all 8 at 80. My opinion: Guardian>Warrior>Mesmer in PvE. The rest are too limited in many ways in PvE. WvWvW and PvP are a different story, which is how Anet balanced them.

Yes, everyone rolls these because basically it’s all you need to play the game and do the dungeons. The other classes are more or less pointless and useless. Dungeon groups of 5 warriors do just fine. What else do you need? Crafting alts?

Warriors + guardian its the easiest possible party you can have.

So if you pug, means having a free ticket to any party.

I waited 30 min on sunday to read a single LFG that wasn t requesting heavy prof >.>

Guardian is Nightmare armored Charr with Celestial Dye and Sunrise. Warrior is female, has partially T2 armor and some other stuff, very purpelish (purple hair, purple star tattoos) and got Frostfang and some Zodiac Weapons.

I don’t like this black-armored-with-twilight stuff. It’s imho pretty childish and people think they are kitten if they are black and bulky. But that’s only my opinion.
