Seriously, this game has way too many bugs.

Things that have hit my gameplay just these last few days:

  • The “incorrect password” bug that randomly disconnects people (doesn’t have anything to do with your password). Between the Fractals dungeon (that doesn’t allow people who disconnect to rejoin it) and the mess with the overflow servers during the event (same), this had a massive impact on the game this weekend.
  • The “join a party” system often doesn’t work – it tells people that a player doesn’t exist more often than not, right clicking on someone’s name often simply does not give an option to select “invite to party” or “join”.
  • Culling, which has always been an issue in WvW but also hit PvE with full strength this event.
  • Ranged attacks against structures often give an “obstructed” message even if there is no obstruction, effectively preventing ranged damage against those structures.
  • During underwater combat, often enemies will be tagged as invincible despite being in front of the character.
  • A lot of weapons continue to have strong clipping, especially shield equipped by any character with long hair.
  • The norn boss in the Explorable Mode of Crucible of Eternity, path 1, is still bugged so he doesn’t lose his shield. Killing him takes hours now.

And so on and so on.

This isn’t a bug report topic – there are many of those in the Game Bugs section, and everything I have described above is known. This is an alert to anyone considering buying this game to be careful about what you are getting into.
