while the servers are down for maintenance, how about you update the missing Patch Notes??

you seem to have left out the fact you added the option to trade a +16 into 5x +9ar +stat infusion

who know what alse you might have forgot to add to the patch note’s…..

any estimated time to fix it? still cannot login.

Just a suggestion, next time refer to it as emergency maintenance, rather then just unscheduled. The way you had it phrased had people on Twitter going berserk.

I just got word from support, since I didn’t know what was going on.

But it was a very quick reply, which I am very appreciative of and now I know what is going on.

Just wish they did put out a server wide message, as I never saw one myself. Just got booted.

This is actually really appreciated. Thanks for the heads up and personally I wouldnt mind the servers getting shut down for maintenance once a week or something. Might help with the serious lag issues in wvw.

I’ve only been in the game a few months, but this is the first time I’ve run into a full-blown stoppage. Kudos to you for that, ANet team! Granted, my previous mmo experience set the bar really low, but I still appreciate the virtually ceaseless uptime I’ve had on this game since I installed it.

Guild Wars 2 has given me a really good experience for the year I’ve played, I’ve rarely seen it go down and I appreciate how subtle each patch is implemented. It isn’t everyday you see an mmo that says “A new build is available in 10 minutes” followed by “A new build is available, your game will restart in 2 hours.”

Adding my kudos for the communication update. Things happen – and when the community is empowered with information, we can easily deal with it. When something goes awry and we get treated like mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed fertilizer), then we’re more likely to get miffed. Big change from the past! No worries.

Actually, if this can help, I noticed that you can still wear the soulbound tagged items from the hero panel. It’s just the tag that appears, and you can’t wear them from the inventory, but it works just fine on the equip panel.

You weren’t the only one…only I took it a step further and reset my password, restarted my PC & restarted my client…finally decided to get in touch with support and found out about this server maintenance.

That’s kind of like saying after a building was built and finding out that all the light bulbs were the wrong wattage that you tear it down and start all over again.

yes I have a soul bound item on a character(thief) that is not a revenent. that is the armor piece that you made soulbound at the place of making them account bound when hot was realease. that is why it as been stuck there for along while now. since you got those armor piece after doing some requisite in game.

as for putting stuff in storage soul bound to other character it could be trinket or trophy that are sometime needed to do some event. when people do not have enough space on the character they use the bank storage to hold it in.

Wow. And I was just telling someone how it’s so cool that GW2 is never offline, even when they update it. I feel like I jinxed it.

Maybe it is just me, but didn’t they say the quality of the content in Season 3 would increase? I know that bugs happen, but with the desync issue and now this, there seems to be a lot more serious bugs occurring in the live environment since the Season 3 launch

I look forward to your tales of travel as you run across every map in the game to get where you want to go. Removing Asura (and all the tech that they maintain, so every form of fast travel except teleport to friend) would also remove the gates they created and the waypoints they maintain.

Matter of fact all gear should be account bound. I really don’t understand the purpose of making armor and weapons soulbound.

The downtime is killing me

It kicked me out right when I chose “Spit” on some gravestone in Frostgorge Sound. Thought it was my fault :P

Especially since when I tried to login back again, my character suddenly dropped from 82% map completion to 0%, but that was probably just because the server was already not responding sanely anymore.

Hm… I hope the solution includes some mystic forge recipe or consumable to make soulbound gear exotikittenil it’s equipped again.

Even if it has a cost, I have a few characters that I wish to treade gear between them, like making my sylvari ranger the one with the condition gear and the norn the berserker one.

I would like to correct that to just kill Phlunt after Taimi will have enough fun from mocking him

Also it’s good the team have reacted quickly, hope we will be able to get back to the game soon
