We need more music
I heard you can customize your own playlists for different situations.

If you wander over to Twitchtv/GuildWars2, there is a video by the Devs in charge of music in the game, that addresses your concerns. I found it very interesting. =)
I enjoy the music in GW2. During Beta it game me the chills and I was really excited for the release of the game. After some beta weekends I would still start guild wars 2 but wasn’t able to play but I would just let the loading screen music keep playing lol.
I would like for new music to be added as long as it is of high quality similar to the music that has been in since release.
No we don’t. We need to make better use of the music we have. It’s not like that other game has more songs, it’s that there’s plenty of songs that you’ll hear once, or never at all. The facts that memorable zones such as capitals have no associated songs, or that sometimes inappropiate songs pop up don’t help either.
Besides, most updates saw the addition of more music (Halloween & Christmas songs, SAB songs, Southsun’s Theme…)
“You can’t have more than 10 HS decks because that would confuse people”
“30 fps is more cinematic”
My biggest annoyance at the moment is boss music. Raven Speaks, Scales of Issomir, and that other boss fight OST are wonderful and all but hearing them over and over and over and over kinda made them lose their charm.
Also, they’re often used totally in the wrong places. Raven Speaks was clearly composed for the Jormag fight, yet its used for everything from the Legendary Effigy to… Scarlet.
I wish we can turn off the combat music. I find it annoying. Every time I encounter 5 monsters or being in a large zerg the mosaic music turns into frustration music.
Boss fight music should change, Jeremy Soule composed more than 200 music pieces please use some of them.
i strongly agree with the OP. Music sets the atmosphere and is extremely important.
FF had legendary status because of their epic music.
i don’t get the feeling from gw2. the only song that left an impression in my mind is the character page song and ‘fear not this night’
