Very Full and Full server status is not an indication of players actually playing the game. It’s an indication of how many people have created accounts tied to that server.

We need less if any. I’m on very-high and haven’t been put in an overflow outside Dragon Events in months.

Hardly would any new Worlds be added due to current situations in WvW tiers. Only the population caps for each World would be increased, and the caps have been dynamically changed all the time ever since the offical launch.

The so called “servers” are a cluster of linked physical machines, where as Worlds are logical partitions within the cluster. Like folders (logical) in a hard drive (physical).

TBH it really depends on how full the servers are actually at, at any given time with players being actually logged in.

If it gets to the point you can’t log in to your server because it’s too full THEN yes we need more servers. Until then no. People complain now the game is “dying” because they hardly see people in game in most maps. Imagine if they added more servers and people moved to those, it would be even more “dead”.

Or a PR way of saying GW2 is very successful.

I think that they changed their overflows. Now you’re not really told that you’re in overflow. I’ve experienced that at one of the dragon events – I got to the dragon event, however when my friend arrived he saw nothing . I had to add him to party so he could join the map that I was on.
EA seems fine on servers, however if to open the USA window – all servers ARE full or very high.

With all the Lagging and crashes, new servers are mostly needed.

What happened to all those posts saying ANet needs to merge empty servers? People already complain that maps are empty. Adding more servers will cause more of these complaints.

They have already increased the population caps on the servers. They should be able to do it again.

If they could increase the caps, that’d be great. If they can’t, more servers would be nice.

The End is Nigh! The servers are full and the worlds are empty! Please open more servers because no one plays this game any more, so everyone who plays can abandon the game when TESO/Wildstar/Titan comes out.

They added in more spaces for the servers and the events where made bigger so you where less likely to be put in overflow. They even seemed to add in a way to keep ppl in the non overflow by making ppl not near you as if they where in a different server.
