Now when weakness works on critical hits. What happens?

Lets say I get might every time I crit. If I then crit but I have weakness and I get the 50% damage penalty, will I still get my might stack.
Or will it be some kind of glancing blow and not proc might?

The way I thought it worked was:

- If you’re weakened, there’s a 50% chance your attack will fumble and glance off the target(s).

- If you don’t fumble, then the attack is calculated to critical hit or not.

…probably wrong though. I’m curious to find out since I’m nowhere near my computer to play.

I believe the way it worked before was that critical hits bypassed the glancing blow check. Now, all hits would go through the glancing blow check.

This is anecdotal, but I certainly don’t recall any reduction in critical hits when weakened (i.e., if crits were calculated after the 50% chance of glancing blow check, then a 60% crit chance % would produce on average crits on 30% of all hits).

As many times as I’ve fought the new Risen that apply perpetual weakness (Wizard, Noble), I believe I would have noticed a 50% reduction in critical proc. This will of course remain anecdotal since I cannot test under the old conditions.
