Please allow us to wear a hat and glasses at the same time!

I’ve heard tons of other players asking for this aswell.

I would love to wear the gemshop sunglasses together with the Sailor’s Beanie or GuildWars Cap.

I realize that much of the Head Armor out there covers the whole face, or to a certain point where glasses wouldn’t be realistic. Is this why it’s not possible atm?
Isnt there a way around that? You could make an optional slot for cosmetic glasses that only works with certain helmets. Probably quite some work, but still..

Because you’re asking for a seventh piece of equippable gear with stats (which means there’s going to be tons of balancing involved, not only for stats but for runes as well), new UI in the Equipment and Wardrobe (for face items), and a slight increase in hardware requirements (because now every person you see potentially has one more item being rendered on them, up to a maximum of 8 models being rendered on each character).

I doubt this person wanted an extra gear slot. Just a cosmetic change. IIRC, in Runescape there is a NPC that allows you to combine certain headgear, such as glasses and a fake beard. Maybe something similar could work here?

What you’re asking for would probably just have to be released as a separate item/transaction.

Don’t see why it isn’t doable though.

Imho, I always believed that headpieces should be splitted into 3 parts (Low, mid, and high pieces). Its how works on majority of MMO’s, i don’t understand why its nothing this way here.

I also believe that it should be only cosmetic, and not a part of the armor set at all. As if wear sunglasses would really increase my defense =).

This exactly.
Currently there are armors already covering certain had parts, but would not cover eachother. i.e. Several light armors cover only the top of the head, leaving the eyes and the mouth/beard-slot free.

I’d love to combine tattoos with glasses &/or hats.
Those tattoos from the beginner necro set are so cool that they should be available for all armor types.

As for clipping issues, head slot skins that are clipping should be qualified as potentially clipping armor, and should note the player when previewing it, but allow him to apply the skin.
E.g. Phantasmal Hood + Glasses. Would annoy many people, but hey! it looks hilarious!

Olny to clarify, the 3-pieces set for head, usually makes if you wear a helm, or a hood like the phantasmal hood, cover the 3-slots of the head.
