Weird Black Lion Chests Drops
I am pretty sure that BLC actually drops some, if not most, of the rare gem items. I myself got the Total Makeover Kit 4 times.

I’ve never had a permanent gem store item drop, and they’re not listed as possible drops in the wiki. Thiago, I think it’s likely your friend was trolling you.

I dont’ even know black lion chest drop those items. (but I haven’t played GW2 for a few month).
Maybe Anet is trying to make black lion chest more valuable so people’ll actually buy black lion key. Or your friend is trolling you, because those item isn’t in the loot table before.

I also found it weird, but I saw the items. He started to play 2 weeks ago and when he got the items he linked to me and asked what was that! I’m pretty sure he didnt bought that on the gemstore or he would tell me.

Those aren’t listed drops for the black lion chests. The drop research for thousands of chest have not had even one of these drop.

2 possibilities. One your friend is so extremely lucky as to get two items that are so rare that literally no one else has gotten them. Or he was teasing you.
