They moved Kasameer and Marjory into a deserted part of the map and put Kasameer into her bikini! They was looking after taimi at the bridge to sanctum before this little update. This just seems like a strange thing to do, especially not including it in the patch notes with a reason. Any thoughts?

What did you want in the patch notes? “Kasameer now wears a bikini.” ?

Certain 1st time she appeared in the game she was wearing one. Southsun cove release.

I think I put the emphesis on this post about her bikini, but infact just moving them to that different place is weird! They were meant to be looking after taimi. Does none of this seem strange? whychange this mid patch?

Mini Southsun Kasmeer also wears the Bikini.

I guess my big question is: who cares? Also why would they note NPC movement in the patch notes? If they did that every time it’d probably double or triple the list.

Didn’t they say they were all going to have a little R & R before heading off to investigate the Ley line/Dragon incident in the little instance you are sent to at the beginning of the patch? Maybe I remember their dialogue incorrectly from when you speak to them after the reward. /shrug

If you listen to all of their dialogue, then they leave Taimi alone and explore the Sanctum (the Zephyrites won’t let Scruffy on board – too heavy – and Taimi can’t go without him due to leg issues). So while they’re taking care of Taimi, they go on their own way. But previously they only walked like 10 feet away. So the update likely fixed them going to a more appropriate “going away” bit.

Agree with one of the above posters. I don’t expect them to note the when, where, and why of NPC movements.

Just look at all the LA refugees that are moving back into a broken city after losing everything. ArenaNet: “They’ve lost their children, their homes, and their very livelihood here — so we thought they’d all be perfectly okay moving back here.”

Well, right after earthquakes/flood/wildfires, people can and often do move right back in and start rebuilding.
