Guild Wars 2

Hello, I am now glad to say I’m returning to Guild Wars 2 after only playing for about 3 weeks. I was busy with my guild in WoW raiding in Mists…. But later we found out mists would blow in 5.2.. Lol all that aside I was wondering if there are any good blogs, or videos of like game tutorials.. Cause most RPG’s have a lot of stuff in it that i don’t understand. Like wow’s profs and towns and all that.. So i was wondering if i should just jump back into the game and try to learn it on my way of leveling or are there any good blogs or vids!

There are Blogs about the game and Videos.
The best way to learn the game is by exploring it, and it is one of the best part of GW2.
For example finding Jumping Puzzle and solving it is one of my favorit thing in PvE.
Most of the dungeons are fun to play , but you will recieve in game letter about it ,when you have maching level.
Most to learn is you class it self and how to coop with another classes.
Basicly GW2 is a teamwork game .
Combat is amazing here, as it is action base’d.
You can do lot of combos with another classes.
Dynamic events are fun too, but on level 80 mostly pointless.
I would recommend to explore game by your self, it is best way to learn it )

Ok thnx, is there a way to switch servers free? I realy want to play with my friend but I cant cause he’s on a different server…
Also it might just be me but I think its a little weird that the lvling at low lvls is long like its probably just me but it seems to take a while and the maps seem to never change with your lvl

You can have a free world transfer if you delete all your characters:

(I don’t know if you can switch servers.. e.g. from EU to US. But within one server the world transfer is free as described above.)

You can change to any medium populated server without any costs.
If you want to lvl faster, i recommend you to do events and quests (hearts).
There are lot of diffrent locations to explore and they are very good design’d.
But i know this feeling at starting point, it take’s a while to lvl. It is a good idea to get crafting materials , as well as crafting it self – it will help you a lot to lvl faster.
Check Vistas as well)

btw. when you are higher lvl and you want to explore low level location, you lvl will be drop’d to match location.

Yeah, playing together is a lot of fun!
You could also use the guesting function (if you already have a leveled character and don’t want to delete it or you don’t want to spend gems for a trasnfer that includes your characters), if you don’t care that you will loose wvw bonus.

You can guest on any server.. no need to delete your character.
