I think he’s saying he can’t afford it? And possibly that his employer doesn’t pay regularly, so we need to watch to see if he gets paid today and then see if it was enough to cover the cost of the outfit?

I’m assuming it is a complaint against Halloween ending and being shorter than normal, so they have missed out on the Guard outfit as it was removed before their pay went in.

But the Lunatic Guard outfit wasn’t removed. It’s still up for sale for almost another week. That’s the main reason I am so confused by what they are trying to say.

Standard sale behavior; it said “New!” until today’s patch that removed Halloween, at which point it switched to 6 days left.
