Just need a little clarification on MF. I know it influences drop rate from mobs. Does it influence chests? bags? mystic forge results? harvesting?

We have been told by devs that it ONLY affects your chance of getting better loot from monster kills.

Therefore, it should not effect mystic forge, harvesting, looting bags, chests, etc.

Just monster kills.

Doesn’t affect chests.

I don’t believe it affects drop rates. Rather, it affects quality of drops. Having a lot of magic find increases the chance that a blue will become a green, a green a rare, a rare into an exotic.
