What I think about about Guild Wars 2
A lot of people understand the mechanics of a game so well, and can put into practice all the synergic details, that it makes me very jealous! I don’t crunch the numbers – I hate numbers – instead I do what I think will be fun and I’m HUGH on being attracted to the animations of skills which is what draws me to certain weapons. That said, if it isn’t obvious, I have no clue how to make weapon choice, traits and/or skills work together. I PVE. So, I like many others, go to websites to check out others’ builds. I found a really fun one that involves using the Elementalists skill that gives a lightning hammer. The hammer, while active, replaces your usual weapon/s of choice and it IS a lot of fun! And very effective at bashing the enemy! Another aspect that makes this build fun, for me at least, is there are 25 points put into the water trait line and, because of this at least in part, my Elementalist is constantly regenerating health. That is not to say she doesn’t take damage and die, but I have found that I don’t have to run away to heal quite as much as I did before when I was trying to put together a build on my own. Anyhow, just my 2 cents… about Elementatlists.
I do agree that all the professions are a blast to play and can prove it by the seven characters I am currently working on leveling… while eyeing an eight character slot! Have fun!

I agree as well. When I first saw the game advertised, I wasn’t that impressed actually. I just thought, “Oh lord, another mmo.” But my husband started playing and watching him I was hooked. I have altaholism anyway, so I understand not being able to choose. I’ll end up buying gems just for more slots because I’ll need a slot for each profession!
Anet making so many awesome professions and races is a conspiracy to get you to buy more gems for character slots of course! They’re even teasing us with the subraces. All they need to do now is release Kodan/Tengu/Skritt expansions and watch as their money bags fill up. Anet has always been one of those shady business companies that charge you for quality content.
I see your point there Archer. Devious. Very devious indeed. My wallet is crying right now at the prospects.
