Guild Wars 2

I’d like to see what the community thinks about the audio when watching GW2 videos. Do you prefer strictly in-game sounds? What about no in-game sounds and only music? A mixture of both with the music quieter (ambient)?

Why I ask is simple. I’m making another video, but I know people have very different tastes in music. In a video demonstrating a builds potential when played well (WvW and not zerging), what would you like to hear? I feel like a video like this has to last a while to really demonstrate your point and after 10 minutes of no music, people would lose interest. I don’t want people closing it early just because they don’t like what they hear. So, tell me what you think. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

No game sounds or music, dubbed over with a good tune. I prefer something heavy with a good hook. No rap. <— my opinion

I’d avoid regular music, like rock, metal, rap, pop etc. You’ll always have people freaking out over it because they prefer other types of music, plus you risk having your video removed from Youtube due to copyright. Much safer to either go with GW2 OST or remixes of other game music.

I’ll check out GW2 OST and possibly some other game music. Thanks for the replies!
