Guild Wars 2

So I started playing guild wars when it was first released. I reached level 73, tried to log in one day to find my account hacked. Contacted support, they eventually got my account back.

However, I had lost everything, all my weapons, armor, gear, crafting mats, all sold to the auction house and my gold given away. I gave up for some time being kitten off and all.

A few days ago I picked the game back up, tried a couple other classes but eventually decided I did not want to do everything I had done all over again. So I managed to get some lower level weak gear and weapons, and it was enough to finish out some zones and hit level 80.

I started two new crafting jobs, and have steadily been hitting every tree and mine that I come across.

However, I just tried to run and dungeon and we got wrecked. Of course my party suggested that I get better gear before attempting anymore dungeon runs. That was actually my plan lol, run dungeons to get better gear.

So at this point I am wondering, what can I do to make some money. All of the level 80 gear around seems to cost quite a bit of gold that I clearly dont have.

As a fresh level 80 with no gold, insufficient crafting mats and level, and inability to run dungeons. What can I do to make money, and start beefing up my character?

Go to cursed shore and farm shelt/pen. Best gold in game.

Rare (yellow) gear is sufficient for dungeons. If you’re entire team wiped it’s not down to one person being undergeared.

You can do a lot of things such as

1. Travel to Orr and farm there you can safely get 1-3g an hour

2. go to lvl 70-80 zones and do 100% map completion that will get you at least 2 exotics you can sell or use.

3. farm ores and wood and sell it.

personally I would go to orr since it can really get you going i’ve farmed over 30g today in over 6 hours
