What can I do?
Theres an activity rotation that rotates southsun survival (hunger games esque). Crab toss (a game of keep away), and Sanctum Sprint (mario kart esque game). There have been other minigames through the LS but those haven’t stayed.
There are minigames (activities), but they are mostly PvP. There are also many different jumping puzzles and other similar challenges in the world.
Levelling is extremely fast in this game. You need to explore, as that constitutes the large bulk of your experience gained, not killing monsters or doing hearts. If you stay in one area too long you actually lose the exploration bonus on XP gain.
Just run around, catching very waypoint / POI / vista and gathering resources, and the levels will just fly by and you will hit max level without realizing it. If you are clever you can get away without any combat, hearts or events at all.
There are no arenas, but you can enter PvP or WvW at any time. While roaming you will often encounter 1on1 or small group fights.
As for items, there are many tonics and other items that you can buy off of the TP or for karma that let you change into a creature for a while and roam. Some of these have costume brawl skills that you can fight other players with.
Do the Dive Master achivement if you are bored.
I’m usually really sweet… but this an internet forum and you know how it has to be.

Alright thanks!
My ignorance in this game makes it hard to do stuff because I’m not really sure what to look for lol
Thanks for the tip!
Obviously, this is a big game. So, is there any site that can help me find out all the information I need or want to know?
Thanks again!
Oh yeah, what do I do when no one else wants to work with a lower level player?
For example, I have a level 30, well technically 32, but still, I will join groups and see “level 80 only” and get kicked out…and there are many fractals I can do, but I guess I fail at it because I am to low level and not well geared…
What do I do in this case?

First thing to know, you don’t join “80 only” groups when you’re not level 80. They say that for a reason
Those groups often do speedruns, and everyone involved pretty much knows the dungeon in question by heart, so they don’t want some poor sod in shabby armour tagging along and dying all the time.
Then you should note that the first dungeon starts at level 30 for story mode and 35 for explorable mode. That would be Ascalonian Catacombs, you should be able to find groups for that one. If not, advertise your own, stating it’s specifically a group for low-level players and/or alts. I never failed to find a group that way.
And yeah, Fractals is a level 80-only thing, especially if you run them with random groups and not guildies.
As for an info site, the wiki should help you with that: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Main_Page
And last, but not least, join a guild. Everything’s more fun with a guild
Also, the chances of finding a group for your level and/or desired activity are much higher.

Activities are fun (most of them anyway).
Leveling 1-30 in two weeks I’d say is average if you are a casual player (1-2hrs/day). I’m honestly surprised you find that too long.
A good pace, in my opinion, is 1 level per day. That’s what you should be hitting as a casual player (1-2hrs/day) and a must faster pace in the beginning of course. If not, then you should utilize the dailies and events more.
At that rate, you would be max level in a little over two months, which for the love of god if you think that’s too long, then I don’t really understand the new generation of MMO players.
I remember when hitting level cap took years upon years. Now it takes a couple of months and people claim its a boring grind.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
Have you thought about joining a Guild that can assist you with leveling. Some guilds look for just numbers. There are guilds that help it’s member level and advance in the game and enjoy the game.
Thanks!
I’m actually a guy that came from WoW…so I could level a character 1-30 in 3 days…probably 2 days even.
So it doesn’t come off that weird, so I’m just not used to it taking 3 weeks lol.
Then again, I used to play WoW for a long time…like maybe 10hours I spent a day just to gain 10 levels…
I actually recently joined a guild. It’s a new one, I was only speaking to the guild leader, who seemed very nice, I just hope that goes with the guild too, more helping and playing (which she seemed genuine in helping me or getting me help), I don’t want to be in an unsocial guild that just care about numbers and gear
also, thanks for the great help everyone! very appreciated
Make sure you do your daily and monthly stuff, this gives you laurels and some EXP for each goal you make.
Also, crafting gives EXP if it’s an item that’s not too far below your skill level. Check the Wiki (top of the page) and the crafting forum for more info on that.
delicate, brick-like subtlety.
Jump into spvp (especially after the 15.4.14) and WvW.
See if you like a alternative form of playing, you get to be a full lvl 80 in spvp and WvW is probably the best way to lvl fast.
If you follow a good commander who knows what they are doing, plus have superior numbers, you can gain 2-5 lvls a hour.
Try Edge of the Mists if your server isn’t competitive in WvW, you can lvl just as fast on there.
Also, remember there is a WvW tournament going on at the moment with decent rewards, so well playing check the special achievements tabs, those may be something to aim for and easy to do, you still have 7 weeks!
