Got 500 Artificer yesterday and realized that the looong looong road to get all items makes me wanna explore other venues as well, so where can ascended weapons drop?

So, we have seen it drop in WvWvW (Not specified from what part)
We have seen it from Champ Bags (after over 1000 opened).

What else?

Can they drop very rare from mobs?

Can they drop from Players in WvWvW?

I assume they can drop from Daily Reward Chest from events, but can they drop from for example Fractal Boss Reward Chest and/or Fractal Daily Chest?

I too would like to know, I’m not in the know.

If i were you i’d concentrate on champ farming and forget about any other places. There isn’t a place where you’d have a higher chance of receiving the weapon so just do something that gives you the most opportunity at getting one which is champ farming. its easy, fast and boring as &^%$ but i don’t see any other options.

Any mobs that drop that Dragon Ore stuff. So Champs, World Bosses ( All big events that give chests) Dungeons etc etc.

I got one yesterday from a world boss.

I think it was Teq (it may have also been Maw, I can’t remember). But it gave a weapon with cleric stats.
