I just need a class that can do it all and do it by themselves. I’m sure all can but honestly some are better than others for certain things.

Good luck finding champs to solo with any profession with Megaservers. Its more a shared age, cooperative age than ever.

To answer your question: any of them can if you know what you’re doing. Ranger, engineer and maybe necro maybe easiest in general but depends on your play preference.

There are videos of Engineers soloing practically every/any type of champ/bosses/content, except for impossible ones due to the mechanics themselves not allowing it. Example: nobody can solo CoF P1 because you need 4 people to stand in the bubbles and 1 to open the door.

There’s even videos of Engineer soloing Fractal 100 Mai Trin, Migraine(Heart & Minds Extreme Mote), or Lupicus(but this one has been done with every profession, naked, and with feet-only).

You can be a pretty bad player and solo it easy as ranger or maybe minion mancer.

Just keep changing your pet when it is almost dead.

Necromancer. Lots of pets who tank for you and have a lot of HP in PvE, dots that can be applied on the run or even over your back, lots of CC, lots of life leech and shroud as a second bar (if you turn off auto-targetting shroud also serves to create gaps in distance).

Impossible cof p1 solo you say?

Define „best“.

Do you mean fast? Then a high DPS Class like Staff – Ele.
Do you mean easy? The a high AI Class like Necro – Minion Master.

With a Minion Master you can eat a sandwich and enjoy a cup of tea while killing most champions.

A compromise between fast and easy are classes with good DPS and good evade frames like Power-Revenant.

Flamethrower… but I’m biased like that…

I have the most luck with Daredevil in general. The ability to do damage while evading, and the ability to constantly evade makes it so given perfect play you can defeat nearly anything.

I have never come across a champ I couldn’t solo on my ranger, unless it has some sort of timer like some of the HoT ones. With the proper trait setup pet just outheals the damage easily, can do it all day long. MM necro is second, with all the leeching and the heal/prot on shroud traits me and pets can stand there forever and not die, whittling them down. I’ve never tried with engi, I assume it takes tons of kiting with grenades or something?

I’ve done HoT map completion on all classes and have soloed or at least attempted to solo all HoT champions on each class. In my experience MM reaper is the best followed very closely by druid. Engineer would be a top pick too I guess if you’re highly skilled and aren’t concerned about carpal tunnel. The reason I don’t think druid is quite as good as MM is because druids have to give up more dps to reach MM levels of sustain and tankiness which can matter on some timed fights.

For weapons use D/W unless you have to range then go axe. For gear I use knights and zerker but whatever you’re most comfortable with is fine. Even in full zerker you’ll be quite tanky in this spec. Condi gear is also very viable. Rune of the Lich or Rune of the Privateer are both inexpensive and good runes that add to your pet spam but I prefer lich runes because of the synergy with traits.

In normal situations you can keep up 10-12 or so pets which add dps regardless of what kind of gear you have on, soaks up damage, and contributes to your healing. I’ve soloed every non-raid HoT champion with the above build along with various fractals and dungeons while doing achievements. I even started to solo the hearts and minds challenge mode but eventually got bored because it was taking so long and brought a group instead. There really isn’t anything that you can’t solo with this build unless it requires two people like some dungeons.

For druid there’s a lot more options when it comes to builds. In general, for versatile druid builds that can outlast and solo most anything I like to go condi and use condi/toughness/healing gear and spec in a way that gives perma regen and high protection uptime for you and your pet.

Condi shortbow ranger with 2 devourers for pets. This is how I did 100% map completion and also managed to solo a dungeon (after several deaths, lol). Let your pet draw agro, then flank the champ with crossfire.

Devourers are basically unkillable in PvE and just swap when needed. use Troll Unguent for your heal skill.

I used Settler gear but there are other viable options – probably Celestial or Carrion, for starters.
