Q:

I am making a Sylvari warrior to enjoy Verdant Brink and beyond.

Can y’all help with the green an purple colors/dyes used on Tribal weapons?
Here are a few wiki links to help.

FYI, I do have problems with colors hence my reason for asking.

Thanks

A:

Well, there’s not really a way to pick exactly which colors they used. But the green parts are pretty close to Ceylon and Spring Dyes. Green Apple isn’t too far off, either. As for purple, both Purple and Recall dyes looked fairly close, to me.

The purple looks like Grapesicle to me.

The green looks like Celery / Ceylon

The brown is a bit hit or miss because of color fades.

Tip:

You can preview ALL dyes (including locked) so you can always find the name of a suitable dye from previewing. It is just a matter of noting the dye name and buying it.

Depending on the armor you choose it will be different. Are you asking about armor colors or slyvari colors? All armor has different shades of colors even if it is similar in type. For example the slyvari cultural armor between T1 and T3, although they are both leaf like the T1 dyes slightly darker than T3. It’s annoying especially when armor you think should dye similarly such as cultural armor, does not. Btw if you are going with slyvari cultural armor you should test it out first. The color of your slyvari bleeds into your armor color, especially around the belly/waist. It can make really cool combinations but can be tricky to pull off.
