I have one lonely laurel.

The 20 went thru my hands so fast I got ‘laurel burn’.

I have exactly 0. Then again, Frostfang is max 1 day away…

I’m not sure – I recently began work on Howler, so my first thought was to go for the Legendary chest, because obsidian shards and mystic clovers can be a kitten to get. That being said, I could take the laurels chest and essentially get 20 obsidian shards from that, or take the ascended chest and use the gold from the mats to work towards buying Howl. Thoughts?

How are obsidian shards hard to get? I get it if you only do PvP, but if you do PvE too, they’re as simple as going to an open balthazar (taxis in LFG all the time) and buy them at 2100 karma apiece.

They’re waiting for even juicier rewards to use them for. They are the kind of people who never buy anything because odds are it will be cheaper and/or there will be better offerings next week.

To be honest, that is why I am hoarding Karma. Not that I get a lot of it, but I hoard it anyway.

If anybody picked the Legendary Crafting Materials chest, I’d love to know how many Obsidian Shards and Mystic Clovers you got out of it for data collection purposes.

Speaking for myself, I’m going to take the Ascended Materials chest this first time (because I need a spare Vision Crystal for Light of Dwayna), but subsequently I’ll always go with the Laurels chest unless I need more Vision Crystals.

7 clovers, 8 shards.

7 clovers 7 shards for me.
Next time, will probably just go for the laurels. could probably make more clovers with that cash.

I played way too much. Long enough the get everything that I want. Now I just log for new content to get the achies, new items and logoff till the next patch

Yep. And this ended up being true many times already. So we expect it to be true in the future too.

I took the Ascended… vision crystals are nice to have. Got 2 Deldrimore ingots with it… can’t recall what else it gave me.

I keep get vision crystals and lesser vision crystals from Mawdrey/Star of Gratitude and they’re sitting around waiting for me to make something with them (So far 1 full vision crystal and 3 lesser crystals over the course of all the gifts)…

I picked the Laurels. I still need a few more amulets and they’re good for T6 mats, recipes and other stuff…so always laurels for me.

wow nice, I didn’t even know Star could drop vision crystals…
