You can delete your characters and transfer for free. Just don’t forget to put everything in the bank first.

a) spend real money

b) Convert gold to gems

c) reduce this amount by doing Achievements to get a few gems and gold to help along the way (I think at 5k points, you’ll have around 25 – 30G and 400 gems.)

You can delete your characters and transfer for free. Just don’t forget to put everything in the bank first.

Adding to this, wait for the next patch. That way you don’t lose any of the Karma you got on your characters.

If you delete your characters, you can tranfer for free.

Otherwise, farm gold until you can transfer.

No really, if you delete all your characters you are prompted to change worlds.
With multiple 80s, that would never be worth it for me, but for people who don’t have any advanced toons, it isn’t a terrible option.

My first choice is always Tarnished Coast, but as that’s full.. I hear Jade Quarry is very nice! And Sanctum of Rall.

Why don’t you guest there and find out?

Transfer is only needed for WvW.

The transfer fee is only charged if you have characters on your account; in other words, if your account has no characters or you delete all existing characters first, you will be prompted to select a new home world after creating a new character, free of charge.

Surely with 2 80’s you have enough gold to transfer to gems and this pay for the server transfer without spending real $$$’s?

If you haven’t just farm the meta events for rares or run CoF1 until you have enough gold…

Or don’t go to an already overpopulated server. You don’t have to be in t1 to enjoy WvW, you know…

“We have no first-person view because stupid people would lock into it”
“You can’t have more than 10 HS decks because that would confuse people”
“30 fps is more cinematic”
