Lets say you have 500g,and waste like 450g trying to get a precursor on the mystic forge (just an example) and you don’t get it,selling the exotics back gets you some of the money back,but you still lost 250~ gold or so,what do you do?

I’d go into pvp and shatter spam my rage out on my opponents. lol

Continue with business as normal? If you don’t have the capital to keep gambling for precursors, invest elsewhere until you do.

I’d start a thread called ‘What do you do after a huge loss of gold?’ while I mourn the loss of all my wealth.

The question is did you “lose” that gold or “spend” that gold.

If I had already wasted that much, I would probably just say screw it and gamble the rest away. If I failed after that I would stay clear of the Mystic Forge forever.

I suggest you stop wasting it on useless skins if you see the amount going as a loss..

I’d be wondering why I gambled all that gold away when 500g is enough or almost enough to get a precursor. (depending on which one)

I guess in such an unlikely situation (even if i had so much gold – which i don’t – i wouldn’t dump it in the Toilet) I’d go back to CoF farming (or TP flipping, or whatever other activity got you that money) to earn it back.

I never wasted more than ~5g and currently have 440g. its hard to make gold in this game unless you spam cof p1 which i dislike with passion so im not wasting time with mystic toilet hoping he poops me a precursor.

“Leave game”, whine on forum and the log back in a couple of day and watch my character still in front of Mystic toilet. Log off and regret myself.

Don’t gamble in the mystic toilet is my advertise, I will work on my 1st legendary after I get my 1st precursor from world drop. Except bows precursor I will sell right away since ranger sux so hard to waste money on a legendary.

wait… if you had 500g why not buy the precursor???? The most expensive one i think is about 690g. farm the rest instead of trying to get a precursor.

Stop playing the market and start playing the game. I don’t mean this to sound flippant, I’d just enjoy the content and the limited time stuff. Considering some of the skins are attainable through playing the limited time content, in a way those are exclusive also.

I used about 350g in the mystic toilet, yep it was a weekend and i had some beers so i kept going believing…. next time… next time…

I would lament not having just bought the precursor off the TP.
