just curious! I usually just try to level my character using different methods, like exploring the map mostly, but i’m getting into crafting.

Good luck with that. to be efficient its faster to buy the mat you need and that gonna be a tough cookie with the loot nerf. Believe me i’ve tried levelling up through craft with the mat i collect it just take wayyyyyy to long to collect enough mat. Fastest way is get to level 35 and keep doing ascalonian catacomb. By the time you hit 80 you got enough reward to get full exotic armor set.

Explore the world, engage in dynamic events, do daily achievements, and enjoy myself. That’s me, 99% of the time.

Hmmm… dungeons, yes including fractals (no I am not in there all day), WvW, farming, leveling my alts, puzzles, completing achievements, sPVP, running and jumping like crazy in LA while chatting with guildies, getting gold in orr some times…

Oh and costume brawls e.e

I’ve already got two 80s working on the third going to do full map completion 100% on it. When I can get past excessive messaging filters and bugged dungeons I try to collect tokens.

I try to at least get the daily every day, if I’m strapped for time. Aside from that, I spend a lot of time leveling since I have several alts.

At the moment- FoTM is taking up most of my GW2 time.

I also love WvW so if you haven’t yet tried that – I would suggest you give it a go because it can be an easy way to level up your character (stick with the group until you learn the ropes though)

I have five characters. I level them through the map, events, personal story, and I do try to fit in the daily achievement for the karma.

Crafting will level you quite nicely, if you have the mats or money to put into it.

I also do some sPvP, but that does not level you. Have done a little WvWvW, and that does give experience.

3 80s with exotic gear. now to wait on new content. Those that live inside the game with no optional entertainment… are in for a short ride. (more or less)
Keep the long term in mind, and perhaps you can dispell the bad feelings happening to some lately. Having rode the launch wave out with guild mates, activity is expected to taper off. We done it. Stay for?….Legendary stuff that was originally style only? nope. Stay for Legendary for stat increase? nope. I’m no farmer. I diverisify my gaming entertainment, and enjoy a few titles over a stretch of time. I merely login to get ancient wood and Orchalcum ore once in a while on the 3 characters. Nice that more wood is available in the new map. I’m not expecting 100% map completion soon (am 95% on 1s character 80% on 2nd). Players that inhabit a game…. /shrug. Likely complain a lot? I prefer to take step back (play another game) and come back when its resolved. /shrug.
Expecting the game to change over time, with new maps (PvE and PvP & other aspects), there is no need to race to the top. I enjoyed it at the pace I did and now it’s wait time.

I pretty much do the same as the OP. I just like exploring and doing map completion mainly. I dabble in crafting a bit too. I have a ton of materials after completing maps so I just throw it all into crafting. I don’t buy mats unless I’m trying to make something specific. Just hanging around and having fun mostly.

I actually just discovered dailies so I’m having fun doing those now too.

I like to make new characters and gear them out, just got my fourth level 80 in exotics. Change in perspective is always a good thing as it rounds out your view on given subjects.
